Digital Communities of the Elderly are designed and aim to expand and improve the safe use of financial products, services and processes by seniors through hands-on familiarity with the use of these products, services and processes. Subsequently, the creation by some of those trained, of a network that, with the EEKE Central Support Unit, will continuously provide these services to young beneficiaries.

The project “Digital Communities of the Elderly”:

• It directly improves the quality of life of the elderly
• It contributes to the protection of their income and property
• It supports their participation in advocating for their needs and the needs of their communities.
• It provides the possibility for those who wish to participate voluntarily in a public service activity which is intrinsically sustainable and therefore self-sustaining over time.
• It improves the social inclusion situation of the elderly, which is the strategic goal of the project.
